Protecting Your Camera in a Camera Bag That Inflates with Air to Cushion Life’s Jolts

A camera bag has come a long way since the small, sometimes insulated lunchbox-looking case that used to hold an old flash camera and extra bulbs. Today there are hundreds of different styles and sizes of camera cases for professional photographers, photojournalists, amateur photographers and every day picture takers.
One of the newest ways to keep your camera safe is in a camera case that inflates and is especially suitable for those who travel a lot, hopping on and off airplanes or in and out of trains.
Protecting the camera and the accessories is what a camera bag or camera case is all about. The inflatable bag starts out as a compact 13.8 inch by 9.4 inch by 5.7 inch zippered nylon pouch and when the camera bag is needed, a person simply blows into a tube to fill the chambers with air. Many of these camera bags also include several different chambers for all the camera accessories and easy glide dual zippers which can be opened at either end of the bag.
Many people like the rugged nylon style camera bags and backpack type camera cases because they are going on adventures such as mountain climbing or out into the wilderness to take nature photographs and need a heavy duty type of camera case for protection.
If you’re vacationing in a crowded spot where you feel you might be pick pocketed or your camera bag may be ‘boosted’, then going with something that looks nothing like a camera case or camera bag is the best idea. Perhaps the least noticeable style of camera case would be a backpack because no one would suspect it is full of camera equipment and an expensive camera. Many of the new backpack camera cases have separate compartments for all the accessories and straps to hold everything in place. Some of the straps have locking snaps while others use Velcro to hold everything in its place. All of the new camera cases, no matter what the style, are designed using padded thermal covered foam which helps to protect the delicate electronic equipment.
