Photographers of Varying Degrees of Professionalism Carry Different Bags, Wear Different Hats

Amateur photographers as well as professional photographers want their camera bags to not only be good looking and fashionable but functional as well. Gone are the days of the camera bag that only holds the camera in a single opening; today’s camera bags have many compartments, mostly padded, to accommodate all the accessories digital cameras and their photographers must carry in order to capture the perfect photographs.
Most photographers, both professional and amateur, carry with them extra batteries and a battery charger; sometimes an extra camera such as their older camera as a backup; external flashes and meters to read the light and then they would like their camera bags to have extra compartments for a wallet or money and car keys because no one likes to carry a camera bag and a purse. The more compartments a camera bag has, the more items a photographer will find to carry with them.
Camera cases that have compartments with room for everything are the most popular today with every type of photographer. This allows the photographer to easily see and choose which piece of equipment they need quickly and without rummaging through a pile of battery packs, lenses and flashes. And since most of the photographers, probably 95 percent or more, use digital cameras for their photography, there are also small compartments for the digital camera/memory cards so they are not just floating around in the bottom of the camera bag. These are small chips which hold all the photographs and can either be inserted into a home computer to print out the photographs or taken to a camera shop or other store to print the photos.
Many camera bags are made of waterproof materials and have functional as well as stylish designs. Many of the new camera cases contained pockets for smaller items such as CDs, MP3 players, cell phones and other accessories people feel they cannot be without when they are on a camping trip, hiking trip, biking trip or simply out taking nature pictures or pictures of people downtown.
